Hello,
MindJolt is continuously looking for ways to help our developer partners succeed on the MindJolt platform. When you do well, we do well. Until this point, that quest was focused on more game-plays leading to more ad revenue. Recently, sales of virtual goods have been accelerating as consumers become more comfortable with such spending. As a result, it’s become time to open this potential goldmine to MindJolt developers.
Thus, we have just released our Virtual Goods API to provide developers a way to further monetize their games beyond ad revenue. Using these tools, games can offer virtual goods to players. These goods may improve scores, provide personalizations, or offer special game playing modes/levels. The details are documented at: http://developer.mindjolt.com/api-doc....
Technically, the Virtual Goods API offers functions to purchase items and determine the quantity and variety of goods owned by the player. A built-in shop provides an easy, consistent user interface for commerce. Alternately, developers can create their own customer dialogs for single items or special integrations.
Let’s use the community here to discuss this new Virtual Goods API. We will help you learn how to use this new functionality, both technically and in terms of microtransaction best practices We will also take our conversations and feed it back into the documentation.
Let the fun begin.
Yours, Marc

When i visit the link ( http://developer.mindjolt.com/api-doc... ) i'm getting redirected to ( http://developer.mindjolt.com/blog/20... )...
Fix it please, i have 4 games waiting to implement mindjolt virtual goods api ^^.
There is any news about the mindjolt interlevel ads api? -

Another questions about the mindjolt microtransactions api...
What is the revenue share between mindjolt and the developer?
In the documentation there is a line which says not all mindjolt sites currently support the microtransaction api, for those site which dosen't support the mindjolt microtransactions api can i show the MochiCoins api instead to sell stuff? Or should i just disable/hide all the premium features? -

Hello Vabolt and others,
Sorry about the link redirection. My bad. The view I saw (as admin) looked different than what others saw, so I didn't catch it. it is fixed now.
Like ads, the revenue share for virtual goods is 50%-50%.
We want to steer clear of the MochiCoins api so please disable/hide the premium stuff on the other sites.
Thanks, Marc -

Marc can you take a look in my games "Mystic Cards" and "Space Crusher" and enable me to add a "New Game Item" on it? This options is not visible for me and both games are micro transaction games...
Thanks. -

Are the micro transactions going to be able to work on any site we upload to in the future?

EMPLOYEE
I’m
anxious to help devs utilize the VG API.
Hi Brandon,
Currently the micro transactions will only work on Facebook. Over time you'll see the breadth grow, but for now, when we speak of MindJolt's Virtual Goods API, think Facebook platform.
